Acknowledgment & Policy Consent

I understand that the full approved uniform is required every day the center is open, with no exceptions. I understand that a child who arrives out of uniform will not be admitted that day, that the day is recorded as an absence, and that no refund, credit, makeup day, or tuition adjustment is issued for it.

I understand that tuition is due every Friday by 6:30 PM, that a $30 late fee applies to late payments, that all billing runs through the Playground platform, and that unpaid balances result in suspension of care until the balance is cleared.

I understand that tuition is not refunded, credited, or transferred for absences, vacations, holidays, illness, suspension, emergency closures, weather closures, professional development days, or acts of God. I understand that tuition holds my child's enrollment rather than paying for days attended.

I understand that the annual registration and re-enrollment fee is non-refundable, and that withdrawal requires two weeks' written notice with tuition owed through the notice period regardless of attendance.

I understand that activity fees are itemized, disclosed in writing at least ten business days in advance, and tied to specific activities. I understand that confidential hardship waivers are available and that no child is excluded from a core learning experience for inability to pay.

I understand that center hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, that the arrival cutoff is 9:00 AM and children arriving later are not admitted, and that late pickup is billed at $5 per minute beginning at 6:01 PM by the center clock.

I understand that only individuals on the authorized pickup list may receive my child, that photo identification is required at every pickup, and that changes to the list must be submitted in writing. I understand that any custody order or order of protection must be on file with the center to be enforceable by staff.

I understand that complete immunization records and a current physical are required before my child's first day with no grace period, that the center's illness exclusion criteria and 24-hour symptom-free return standard apply, and that medication is administered only with a completed authorization form.

I understand that meals are included in tuition through CACFP and are never billed separately, that my family must complete an income eligibility form regardless of income, and that documented food allergies require a signed statement from my child's health care provider.

I understand the center's communication channels and chain of communication, and I agree to address staff and other families respectfully at all times. I understand that confrontational conduct in the presence of children is grounds for enrollment review.

I understand that the published 2026–2027 calendar is final, that professional development days are full closures, and that attendance at parent–teacher conferences is required.

I certify that I have viewed the Little Minds Universe Family Orientation Video for the 2026–2027 school year in its entirety. I have had the opportunity to ask questions, and my questions have been answered to my satisfaction. I understand that the policies presented in the video are in effect for the full 2026–2027 school year and that failure to adhere to them may result in loss of attendance days without financial credit, suspension of care, or termination of enrollment. I understand that this acknowledgment does not replace the Tuition Agreement, the Uniform Agreement, or the Parent Handbook, each of which is signed separately as part of the registration packet. Where a policy appears in more than one document, the signed agreement governs. I understand that the video remains available in the family portal throughout the year, and that policy updates issued in writing during the year become part of these terms upon notice.
